
Autographed card from Guy Lafleur sold $1250A trading card from the collection O-PEE-CHEE 1977-78 of the former star player of the Montreal Canadiens, Guy Lafleur has been sold for the sum of $ 1,250 at an auction run by the popular Yvon Lambert, held at St-Jerome at the benefit gala for the foundation Edouard et ses étoiles. It was the card that was signed to a wave front of an audience of over 2 million people during the popular show Tout le monde en parle broadcast at Radio-Canada, November 8 last.

Following the broadcast of the "Guy" theme show, in which the former holder of the Montreal canadiens signed a card collection last November 8, Martin Brouillard from ACA grading came in contact with M. Dany Turcotte, Co-host of the program to submit an idea promotional fundraising. After noting that the project was to conduct card grading, in order to submit the card to hype and then sell the latter in an auction non-profits, nicknamed le fou du roi has been seduced by the case and sure, embark in this adventure. So it posted the card at the beginning of November 22 issue to promote in order to raise the stakes. Thus the trading card was available to be placed at auction.
Briefed on the operation, one of the owners of the famous restaurant bar le vieux Shack and vice-president of the foundation Edouard et ses étoiles, Gaétan Lapointe joined the instigator of the project for more information. "This is a superb cover for our cause, and we are excited about this opportunity" to entrust a Gaétan Lapointe satisfies the following events.
